Apex Technologies Showcases Major Power Hub Advancements and Expanding Ecosystem at CEDIA Expo 2026
New Secure Shareable Web Proxy technology, expanded hardware-agnostic support, and enhanced remote service capabilities headline Apex’s largest Power Hub update to date.
Denver, Colo. (August 2026) — Apex Technologies will showcase its latest innovations at CEDIA Expo 2026 (Booth #4415), highlighting significant advancements to the Apex Power Hub, Powered by Control Envy, alongside the new Apex Cinema Hub capabilities and an expanded portfolio of premium residential technologies.
The exhibition reflects Apex’s continued investment in the two disciplines that form the foundation of every high-performance entertainment system: clean, intelligent power and reference-quality audio and video. From centralized power management and remote diagnostics to immersive audio, user-friendly cinema control, creative lighting, and innovative loudspeaker systems, Apex offers integrators a comprehensive resource for designing virtually any residential power or luxury home cinema project.
The centerpiece of this year’s exhibition, however, is the next-generation of the Apex Power Hub, Powered by Control Envy, introducing breakthrough remote support capabilities that fundamentally change how dealers monitor, manage, and service installed systems.
Secure Shareable Web Proxy Brings Unmatched Visibility to Power and Network Health
Making its CEDIA Expo debut, Secure Shareable Web Proxy is an all-new feature that enables secure, encrypted remote access to supported device interfaces directly through the Apex Power Hub, Powered by Control Envy platform. Unlike traditional support methods that rely on third-party remote desktop software and can expose a technician’s computer or customer’s network, this feature creates an encrypted tunnel directly to supported devices. Systems integrators can access a device’s native browser interface remotely, providing a more secure and efficient approach to system management, support, and service.
Together with expanded network discovery, remote diagnostics, historical power analytics, automated power sequencing, and monitoring, the Apex Power Hub, Powered by Control Envy, provides dealers with a unified view of critical power and network infrastructure. This enables integrators to identify, diagnose, and often resolve issues remotely—frequently eliminating the need for an on-site service call.
The result is faster troubleshooting, simpler commissioning, stronger cybersecurity for integrators and homeowners, and a powerful foundation for proactive managed services and recurring revenue.
“The Apex Power Hub has evolved well beyond intelligent power management,” says Ryan Donaher, owner of Apex Technologies. “By combining secure remote device access, network discovery, hardware-agnostic monitoring, and proactive diagnostics into a single platform, the new Secure Shareable Web Proxy fundamentally transforms remote support workflows, giving integrators a smarter way to support their clients while creating valuable recurring service opportunities. Secure Shareable Web Proxy is one of those innovations that’s difficult to fully appreciate until you see it in action, which is exactly what we’ll be demonstrating at our booth throughout CEDIA Expo.”
Expanded Hardware-Agnostic Platform
Another significant enhancement of the Apex Power Hub, Powered by Control Envy, is expanded hardware support, which now includes open integration with intelligent PDUs from Middle Atlantic, BlueBOLT, SurgeX, and Snap One, as well as managed network switches from Ruckus, Cisco, Ubiquiti, and Netgear. The result is broader visibility across critical system infrastructure, allowing integrators to leverage existing hardware investments while managing power and network performance from a single, centralized platform.
Lutron LEAP integration is also now supported, allowing Lutron keypad presses to trigger automated schedules, intelligent PDU functions, and PoE switch outputs for expanded system automation.
Apex’s Complete Technology Showcase, from the Booth and Beyond
Beyond the latest advancements to the Apex Power Hub, Powered by Control Envy, visitors to Booth #4415 can also experience a new shareable interactive online demonstration platform for Apex’s intuitive home cinema control platform, the Apex Cinema Hub, Powered by Control Envy. CEDIA Expo 2026 also marks the first time Apex will showcase and offer GUDE Systems’ complete portfolio of enterprise-grade intelligent power monitoring and management solutions.
Elsewhere on the Expo show floor, demonstrations of other products available from Apex include:

Advancing the Future of Power and Cinema
The Apex Technologies solutions highlighted throughout Expo reinforce the company’s commitment to advancing two disciplines at the heart of exceptional entertainment environments: intelligent power and reference-quality cinema. Through continuous innovation that simplifies installation, elevates system performance and long-term reliability, and creates new business opportunities, Apex is building an open, forward-thinking ecosystem that empowers integrators to design, deploy, and support extraordinary residential entertainment experiences.
