Nice Demonstrates How Furman and Gefen Power More Reliable, Future-Ready AV and IT Systems at InfoComm 2026
Integrated power and signal solutions from legendary Nice brands simplify deployment while improving performance across commercial AV and IT environments.
LAS VEGAS, NV — May 2026 — As AV and IT systems continue to converge and grow in complexity, integrators are placing greater emphasis on solutions that deliver not only high performance, but also reliability, ease of deployment, and long-term stability. At InfoComm 2026, Nice, a global leader in home and building management solutions, is reinforcing that commitment with a larger, more impactful presence at Booth #C9906, showcasing the combined strengths of its Furman and Gefen brands.
Together, Furman and Gefen demonstrate how complementary technologies—clean power and reliable signal distribution—form the backbone of modern AV systems. From large-scale video walls in houses of worship to multi-display sports viewing environments and beyond, Nice is highlighting how an integrated approach helps ensure consistent performance across a wide range of commercial applications.
“What we’re showing at InfoComm isn’t just individual products—it’s how systems should work together,” says Jeff Shaw, CPO at Nice North America. “By aligning power and signal as part of a unified design strategy, integrators can build more predictable, scalable systems that perform consistently in real-world conditions and are easier to support over time.”
Furman: Extending Trusted Power Protection to AV and IT
Furman will spotlight its newly refreshed Merit Z Series Power Conditioners, extending the brand’s long-standing legacy of protecting high-value audio and video equipment into today’s AV and IT environments. As networked systems become more prevalent, reliable power is increasingly critical for commercial AV systems, as well as IT equipment.
The Merit Z Series brings Furman’s proven protection technologies to a broader range of users, combining clean power with practical, integrator-focused enhancements. Features such as Extreme Voltage Shutdown (EVS) help safeguard connected equipment by automatically responding to unsafe voltage conditions, while updates like front and rear outlet access, USB-C charging, pull-out rack lighting, and a built-in breaker indicator simplify installation and on-site troubleshooting.
The lineup includes six models—three for North America (120V) and three for international markets (240V)—with select models offering up to 12 outlets to support modern rack configurations. At the booth, attendees can experience these capabilities firsthand through a fully functional rack demonstration.
Gefen: Simplifying High-Performance 8K-Ready Signal Distribution
Gefen continues to build on its reputation for delivering high-performance signal distribution in demanding environments, with a focus on reliability and ease of installation. At InfoComm 2026, the brand will highlight key solutions designed for today’s 8K-ready systems, including its HDMI 2.1 Extender with HDBaseT and 8K/30Hz support (GF-EXT-HD-HBT) and a family of EDID Detective tools for DisplayPort, USB-C, and HDMI.
These solutions are engineered to simplify system integration while ensuring consistent signal performance across increasingly complex, multi-display environments. By addressing common challenges such as signal degradation, resolution mismatches, and compatibility issues, Gefen helps integrators deliver seamless visual experiences across a broad range of commercial settings—including entertainment venues, houses of worship, higher education, healthcare facilities, stadiums, and large-scale video wall installations.
Power and Signal: A Unified Approach
At InfoComm 2026, Nice is emphasizing a broader industry shift: the growing importance of pairing reliable power management with robust AV signal distribution. Demonstrations at the booth will showcase how Furman and Gefen solutions work together in real-world scenarios to reduce downtime, streamline troubleshooting, and support long-term system performance.
This unified approach reflects Nice’s renewed focus on innovation and expanded use cases, as the company reconnects with the market, engages new partners, and unlocks new opportunities across the commercial AV and IT landscape.
