Nice HySecurity Division Brings High-Security Vehicle Mitigation and Industrial Gate Automation Solutions to International Security Expo 2026
At Stand C90, Nice formalizes its entry into the European Hostile Vehicle Mitigation market with its renowned HySecurity division.
LONDON, UK — September 22, 2026 — Nice, an international technology group specializing in Smart Living solutions, will bring industry-leading solutions from its HySecurity perimeter protection portfolio to International Security Expo 2026, taking place Sept. 29–30 at Olympia, London. At Stand C90, attendees can explore a broad range of high-security vehicle mitigation and industrial gate automation solutions engineered to protect some of the world’s most demanding security environments, including airports, borders, data centers, government facilities and other critical infrastructure.
International Security Expo brings together more than 10,000 professionals responsible for the security and resilience of businesses, people and critical national infrastructure, as well as counterterrorism, homeland security and international security. Following that theme, Nice will demonstrate how robust physical security, intelligent gate automation and reliable access control can work together to help organizations protect people and places without unnecessarily restricting the flow of authorized traffic.
Until now, HySecurity products have reached European specifiers primarily on a project-by-project basis. With CE certification now in place for an initial product range, Nice is establishing a structured route to market in Europe, combining US-based expertise of HySecurity with local commercial and technical support teams.
This business expansion comes as physical infrastructure protection is moving higher on the European and world agenda. Transport hubs, energy and water infrastructure, data centres, government estates, logistics facilities and public spaces face the same fundamental challenge, raising levels of physical protection without creating new obstacles to the people, vehicles and operations that need to move through them every day.

StrongArm® M30/M50 Delivers Crash-Rated Vehicle Mitigation
A centerpiece of the exhibit will be the StrongArm M30/M50 High-Security Vehicle Mitigation Barrier, engineered for demanding perimeter security applications.
Combining patented dual-arm technology with heavy-duty hydraulic engineering, StrongArm M30/M50 is designed to stop unauthorized vehicles while supporting reliable operation and long-term durability. The crash-rated barrier is capable of stopping a 15,000-pound truck with approximately one meter of penetration. Its secondary arm is designed to help prevent low-profile vehicles from breaching the perimeter while also reducing the risk of injury in accidental impacts.
Aircraft-grade hydraulics and heavy-duty steel components support performance in demanding environments, while operation in as little as six seconds helps minimize traffic delays. Factory alignment jigs and a bolt-down design simplify installation and commissioning, and monitored photo-eye technology provides integrated obstruction detection. Passive StrongArm M30 NP/M50 NP models are also available for high-security, low-traffic sites where electrical power is unavailable.
SlideDriver™ II Brings Hydraulic Performance to Demanding Industrial Sites
Nice will also feature HySecurity SlideDriver II, a next-generation hydraulic slide gate operator. Designed for reliable, high-performance automation in demanding industrial environments, SlideDriver II supports gates from 1,500 to 20,000 pounds, depending on configuration. Heavy-duty hydraulics provide durable, low-maintenance operation, with speeds reaching up to 3 feet per second and programmable control to meet site-specific requirements.
The system is designed to give security professionals a combination of speed, durability and configurable operation for applications where gate reliability is essential to both perimeter protection and daily traffic flow.
HydraSwing® Handles Large, Heavy Swing Gates
For demanding swing-gate applications, Nice will showcase HySecurity HydraSwing, a compact hydraulic operator capable of supporting gates up to 15,000 pounds or 40 feet per leaf. Soft-start and soft-stop technology reduces mechanical stress, while flexible programming accommodates single, dual or sequenced gate operation. An integrated event log helps simplify diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Showcased at the stand, the three solutions integrate with Nice’s broader access, control and connectivity ecosystem, allowing high-security access points to operate within a wider site management environment.
Together, these technologies illustrate the Nice and HySecurity approach to perimeter security: combining robust mechanical engineering, intelligent control, safety features and installation flexibility to protect critical sites while helping authorized people and vehicles move efficiently.
