SI’s entire line of motorized screens can now be powered via low-voltage, leveraging the company’s new Janus power and control hub and Fontus two-conductor connector.

Austin, TX (January 16, 2020) — Screen Innovations (SI), a premiere manufacturer of optical screen and shade materials, introduces at ISE 2020 in stand #1-N80, the expansion of its low-voltage motor technology across its entire line of motorized screens. The low-voltage capability was initially rolled out in 2017 in a few varieties of SI motorized screens but is now incorporated into every model. Every SI motorized screen can now be powered and controlled via any type of low-voltage wire, including Cat5 and even two-conductor speaker wire. This affords integrators worldwide enhanced installation flexibility, versatility and cost savings.

Leveraging this complete ecosystem of low-voltage-enabled motorized screens are SI’s new Janus and Fontus products. Janus delivers power and control for up to 8 low-voltage screens in 75% less space than its closest competitor, while Fontus supports the connection of screens to a power/control source over any type of two-conductor wire.

“In an industry where technology is constantly evolving, low-voltage applications are king,” says SI CEO Ryan Gustafson. “With our complete line of low-voltage motorized screen solutions, we are able to integrate more seamlessly with other products and systems while providing the integration community with a wide variety of solutions to suit any project or application.”

The complete low-voltage ecosystem of motorized screens and connectivity products illustrates SI’s commitment to being a leader in the development of new technologies; providing its dealers with state-of-the-art solutions, service, and support; and creating new revenue opportunities for its dealers.
