With the long, Memorial Day Weekend now in the books, the technology integration industry is set to turn its eyes towards the annual InfoComm show.
Memorial Day Weekend is the unofficial start of summer for many people and once the InfoComm Show concludes in Las Vegas (June 13-19), the technology integration market will be quiet until the few weeks leading up to the CEDIA Expo show in Denver on Sept. 1-4.
Before moving forward with upcoming InfoComm 2026 and CEDIA Expo 2026 news, let’s look back at the month of May at KMB Communications.
Here is the KMB Comm-icles Monthly Recall for May 2026:
D-Tools SI v24 Enables Faster Integrator Collaboration Capabilities:
Even though the latest news from the top dealer software company D-Tools was announced in late April, the May KMB Comm-icles will still look at the new System Integrator (SI) v24 product release.
SI v24 is the latest version of the end-to-end business management platform. Among, the highlights of the new dealer software solution are its multi-user project editing feature and its ability to coordinate with outside parties.
The software also offers new user-group permissions for approving internal and external change orders. Additionally, D-Tools points out SI v24 can deploy on an Azure Load Balancer, and it offers mobile file transfers up to 100MB.
Back in early May, Nexus 21 introduced its newly reengineered Apex Motorized Wall Mounts, and the company says the latest version of the mount series make TVs feel like statement pieces.
Nexus 21 emphasizes that its new product line is designed to conceal most of a TV’s mounting hardware within a wall. The mounts enable TVs as large as 83 inches to sit just under ¾-inch from walls.
