RoseWater Energy Introduces Rugged Outdoor Enclosure for Energy HUB Installations, Empowering Integrators with Greater Design and Installation Flexibility

RoseWater Energy Introduces Rugged Outdoor Enclosure for Energy HUB Installations, Empowering Integrators with Greater Design and Installation Flexibility

Telecom-inspired solution offers a space-saving alternative for homes where indoor installation is challenging or not permitted—helping integrators win more power management projects.

PLANTATION, FL – July 7, 2025 – RoseWater Energy, the integration channel’s trusted resource for advanced, professionally installed power conditioning, energy management and storage systems for luxury homes, is making it easier for systems integrators to land lucrative power management projects with the introduction of a rugged outdoor enclosure option for its multi-award-winning RoseWater Energy HUB 40.

Inspired by the durable telecom cabinets used by providers like Verizon and AT&T to protect sensitive electronics in remote environments, the new enclosure expands installation possibilities for systems integrators and solves one of the most common challenges in residential power management: lack of indoor space

With residential energy management becoming an increasingly critical part of the smart home ecosystem, RoseWater Energy’s new outdoor housing allows integrators to confidently deploy full-featured Energy HUBs in environments where interior space is limited or restricted. Each enclosure is powder-coated, weather-resistant, and engineered for long-term durability in harsh conditions, making them a viable option for all climates.

“This development is about eliminating objections and simplifying installations for our integration partners,” says Joe Piccirilli, CEO and founder of RoseWater Energy. “Too often, projects are delayed or lost because there’s just no space inside the home for a large-scale power management system. With our outdoor enclosure, we’ve taken a proven concept from the telecom world and adapted it to meet the evolving needs of the CI market—without compromising safety, performance, or longevity.”

The enclosure supports the complete three-shelf battery configuration of the RoseWater Energy HUB 40 and accommodates a total system height of 60 inches. It includes an integrated climate-control system—either air conditioning or heating/cooling—to maintain stable internal temperatures year-round, protecting the electronics and batteries from extreme weather conditions.

Ideal for retrofits and municipalities that prohibit indoor battery systems, the outdoor HUB connects directly to the home’s breaker box just as it would in an indoor application. In many retrofit scenarios, outdoor cabling can even streamline installation by eliminating the need to run wires through finished walls.

This new option provides a strategic advantage to integrators working in luxury properties and environmentally sensitive areas, enabling more flexible system design and project approvals.

Outdoor installations are quoted on a per-project basis, allowing for tailored solutions that meet site-specific requirements. Integrators are encouraged to contact RoseWater Energy’s technical team to discuss the optimal configuration for each deployment.

The introduction of the new outdoor HUB enclosure coincides with RoseWater Energy’s impressive performance in CE Pro’s annual 100 Brand Analysis Report. For the second consecutive year, RoseWater Energy has secured the #2 spot in the energy management category—an achievement underscored by a notable increase in ranking percentage for 2025. This upward trend reflects growing industry awareness and demand for RoseWater’s innovative solutions. By combining advanced power management technology with White Glove commissioning, installation, and support, RoseWater Energy helps systems integrators thrive in this rapidly expanding category.

Inside the Bosse Pickledom: How Invictus Technology Solutions and Digital Projection Delivered a Show-Stopping LED Videowall Experience

Inside the Bosse Pickledom: How Invictus Technology Solutions and Digital Projection Delivered a Show-Stopping LED Videowall Experience

Case Study – Video Wall Application in a Commercial Pickleball Facility

When Neiman Marcus closed its 100,000-square-foot, two-story anchor location at the Natick Mall, Natick, Mass., few could have predicted that the vacant department store would become home to one of the most technologically advanced pickleball venues in the country. But that’s exactly what happened when a visionary client and long-time residential customer of Invictus Technology Solutions, of Milford, Mass., approached them with a bold idea: build a high-end sports complex—centered around pickleball—but with a distinctive edge over ordinary courts. The result, Bosse Pickledom, is a jaw-dropping 21-court venue spread across two floors, complete with restaurants, premium amenities, and a digital experience that rivals major sports arenas.

The Core of the Complex: a DP COB LED

At the heart of this transformation is a state-of-the-art 244-inch diagonal Radiance Performance Series 1.2mm COB, (Chip-On-Board) LED videowall from Digital Projection occupying a custom, high-end theaterDesigned, integrated, and commissioned by Invictus, the videowall featured in the “Invictus Sports Theater” creates the ultimate sports-viewing venue—a compelling example of what’s possible when cutting-edge AV technology converges with expert design, precision execution, and a visionary client determined to redefine what entertainment looks like in a modern, multi-use pickleball complex.

The Vision and the Venue

With 50,000 square feet on each level, the Bosse Pickledom is massive. The upper floor features several restaurants, including a full-scale sports bar/lounge. Strategically installed by Invictus throughout these and other spaces are 39 wall-mounted LG OLED TVs ranging from 65 to 83 inches, with 11 dedicated to the sports lounge alone. One of these TVs isn’t a TV at all—but a visually striking, custom-designed Digital Projection dvLED videowall that delivers an immersive, cinematic experience unlike anything else in Natick.

“Everyone has seen video from a projector, but few have experienced the stunning brightness, unbelievable color, contrast and pin-sharp clarity of images on something that looks like a TV, just on a much grander, more impressive scale. Digital Projection’s approach of powering the wall via Common Cathode technology makes the installation all the more impressive as it generates far less heat than other manufacturer designs,” says Invictus president Derek Bettencourt. “Eye-catching and visible from the second-floor entrance, it draws people in—and for a groundbreaking new business like Bosse, that kind of impact is invaluable.”

The “Invictus Sports Theater,” which seats 43 guests at tables, functions as an upscale private viewing room where patrons can reserve seats during special events like March Madness or NFL Sundays. Complementing the incredible visuals is a Dolby Atmos audio system featuring Sonance Reference Series in-wall and in-ceiling speakers and Origin Acoustics audio amplifiers. On command from a specially programmed remote from Universal Remote Control, an AV Pro Edge MXNet video matrix feeds content from a centralized rack of AV equipment to the videowall and all other displays in the Bosse Pickledom.

Expert Execution Streamlines the Multi-Faceted Project

From the very beginning of the Bosse Pickledom project, the Digital Projection Radiance LED videowall was envisioned as the crown jewel of a $2 million AV strategy—and marked Invictus’ maiden voyage into the world of LED videowall integration. “Certainly, our team could have managed the installation ourselves,” Bettencourt says, “but for a project of this scale and visibility, Digital Projection’s white glove service was the smarter path. Their expert technicians completed the installation in just a few days, allowing our team to concentrate on the many other layers of the project, including distributed audio for 21 pickleball courts, extensive Wi-Fi coverage, and a comprehensive surveillance and access control system.”

Guided by the client’s vision, Digital Projection technicians collaborated closely with the Invictus team to seamlessly integrate the massive videowall within the architectural constraints of the theater. A projector-based solution was quickly ruled out due to high ambient light levels, limited ceiling height, and the client’s specific aesthetic and performance preferences.

After carefully assessing the space, the team settled on an 18’W x 10’H, 244” diagonal videowall, comprised of roughly 81 panels and 650 individual 6”x6.5” LED modules delivered direct from Digital Projection to the jobsite in pre-labeled road cases. Each module was clearly numbered and mapped to its exact placement on a custom metal framing structure. While the Digital Projection tech team configured the massive display, Invictus created a cavity into which the videowall would be recessed to create a flush, seamless appearance.

“It was a nice surprise to learn that Digital Projection would supply spare LED modules to use later if we ever need them,” remarks Bettencourt. “As is Digital Projection’s standard practice, these were pulled from the same manufacturing bin and batch as the originals to ensure color consistency during any future replacements.” Even the theater’s AV system offers flexibility: while it’s optimized for one massive picture, a multiview card allows the wall to split into four separate feeds, raising the ever-present question of which audio feed to prioritize—a challenge Invictus is happy to tackle as the venue continues to evolve.

Rounding Out the Tech Plan

The entire Bosse Pickledom is a masterclass in integrated AV design. From Sonance PRO Series pendant speakers that fill the courts with energetic background music, to a high-performance Ubiquiti Wi-Fi network, intelligent door controls for secure access, and more than 150 strategically placed surveillance cameras, every square foot has been meticulously planned. Whether it’s members enjoying spa-inspired locker rooms or casual players popping in for a quick match, the facility delivers a seamless, high-end experience from start to finish. With the push of a single button, staff can trigger pre-programmed AV and lighting scenes—like “Game Day” or the crowd-favorite “Glow-in-the-Dark Pickleball” on Friday nights, where black lights, pulse-pounding music, and live DJ sets transform the courts into an electrifying nightclub-style arena.

A Model for the Future

Certainly, the videowall was a serious investment—but one that immediately paid off in visual impact, customer engagement, and long-term flexibility. In a venue built on redefining what a pickleball facility can be, the Digital Projection LED videowall serves as both a conversation piece and a centerpiece—bright, bold, and brilliantly executed. With the success of the Bosse Pickledom, plans are already underway for expansion, including new facilities in Boston and Buffalo, the latter of which will feature a 60-foot-wide videowall—a testament to the client’s belief in large-format LED displays and in Digital Projection and Invictus Technology Solution’s ability to deliver them.

(sidebar) Powering a Videowall Experience

The LED videowall’s performance comes with power requirements that had to be thoughtfully addressed, as well. The system draws a significant amount of power, necessitating 9 dedicated electrical outlets, each on its own breaker and tied back to the main panel. This foresight was critical in ensuring long-term reliability and safety.
