D-Tools Showcases Smarter, Scalable Project Management Solutions at InfoComm 2026
New multi-user collaboration, inventory asset management, AI-powered capabilities, and native Mobile Install App reinforce D-Tools’ commitment to helping integrators scale more efficiently.
RENO, Nevada – May 27, 2026 — D-Tools, the Integration Business Platform for the technology integration industry, will spotlight new innovations across its System Integrator (SI) and D-Tools Cloud platforms at InfoComm 2026 in Booth C9012. The exhibit reinforces the company’s mission to help AV integrators streamline operations, improve collaboration, and scale with confidence.
At this year’s show, D-Tools is emphasizing a clear technology roadmap designed to support integrators at every stage of business growth. The company’s flagship on-premises solution, System Integrator (SI) v24, continues to evolve for larger and more complex integration firms, while D-Tools Cloud delivers a flexible, cloud-based business management solution tailored to mobile, field-driven teams and growing integration businesses.
“Today’s integrators are managing increasingly complex projects with tighter timelines and higher expectations,” says G Paul Hess, D-Tools CEO. “Our focus is delivering purpose-built solutions that reduce operational friction, improve collaboration, and help integration businesses become more efficient and profitable as they scale.”
D-Tools Cloud Adds Advanced Inventory Management and AI Features
D-Tools Cloud will also spotlight new Inventory Asset Management functionality designed to transform how pro AV integrators track and manage physical hardware throughout the project lifecycle. Rather than aggregating products into simple inventory counts, the system assigns every physical asset its own digital identity, creating a detailed record that includes serial number, warehouse location, project assignment, actual unit cost, firmware version, MAC and IP addresses, and complete change history.
The new feature unifies four traditionally disconnected workflows: warehouse intake, project allocation, field installation, and post-install service within a single per-asset data model. Captured manufacturer serial numbers connect each physical device to its digital record, while barcode and QR-scanning workflows enable team members to receive products against purchase orders, relocate assets, or assign equipment to specific rooms with batch operations supporting up to 50 assets at a time. An immutable Global Unique Identifier (GUID) maintains complete asset provenance throughout its lifecycle, while a built-in audit trail provides chain-of-custody visibility often requiring separate enterprise software platforms.
In addition, D-Tools Cloud will showcase expanded AI-driven functionality designed to reduce the manual workload associated with proposal creation and project management for pro AV integrators. Recently added AI-powered search and scope of work generation help teams work more efficiently while improving proposal accuracy and consistency.
The web-based platform continues to evolve as a modern operating system for growing integration businesses and field-driven teams, combining accessibility with robust project management capabilities. D-Tools Cloud also now includes a native mobile app and Interconnect Diagrams for wiring documentation, complementing an existing suite of tools that supports CRM, multimedia proposals, invoicing, accounting integration, service management, and reporting.
D-Tools Cloud is the company’s award-winning Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution designed for modern integration businesses. From proposals and project management to service plans and payments, web-based D-Tools Cloud has helped AV, security, and low-voltage integrators manage their entire workflow in one connected system since 2018.
D-Tools Debuts Enhancements to Flagship SI Platform
A major highlight at InfoComm 2026 is the debut of System Integrator (SI) v24, the latest evolution of D-Tools’ flagship end-to-end business management platform for enterprise firms. Headlining the release are two long-requested features: multi-user project editing and a native Mobile Install App.
Multi-user project editing transforms how integration teams collaborate. For the first time, sales, design, engineering, and installation team members can work simultaneously within the same project file, eliminating sequential check-outs, version conflicts, and workflow bottlenecks that traditionally slow project execution.
Changes save automatically to the server in real time, ensuring all team members are working from the same current and accurate project data, helping shorten the path from kickoff to completed installation. Collaboration also extends beyond internal teams with a new Gantt chart export to Microsoft Project, enabling integrators to share detailed project timelines with architects, general contractors, and other external stakeholders who may not use SI directly. In addition, Project Editor enhancements now allow users to reorder bill-of-materials items to better mirror field installation workflows.
The new SI Mobile Install App is a powerful field service management SI companion app designed for technicians, installers, and service teams who need to stay productive on every job site. The SI Mobile Install App gives technicians real-time access to service orders, tasks, schedules, site documentation, and project details directly from their mobile devices, helping teams stay productive, connected, and accountable from anywhere. The functionality is almost identical to the existing SI Mobile Install web interface, with the key enhancement being expanded offline functionality, allowing technicians to continue working even when internet access is unavailable.
SI v24 also introduces deeper operational and financial controls, including custom timesheet fields, tax configuration by labor type, catalog-level system type assignments, new change order approval permissions, optional Azure Load Balancer deployment, 100MB mobile file transfers, and admin-only update notifications. Together, these enhancements provide pro AV integrators with greater scalability, governance, financial precision, and enterprise-level project management capabilities.
Industry-leading D-Tools System Integrator (SI) is the most respected end-to-end business management software for the integration industry with thousands of integration company users over its 28-year history. The on-premises solution is designed for enterprise-level firms complex projects, from system design and engineering documentation to procurement, project execution, and financial visibility.
