Partnership with Josh.ai: Introducing the Josh Touchscreen Flush-Mount
Earlier this year, Josh.ai expanded its voice-control platform with the release of the Josh Touchscreen, an 8-inch device that adds a physical interface to its ecosystem. Now, through an innovative partnership with WALL-SMART, this touchscreen can be recessed flush with the wall surface in new construction and retrofit applications, offering a more refined and polished appearance.
Customized by WALL-SMART specifically for the Josh Touchscreen, this new mount provides systems integrators with a simple yet effective way to minimize the visibility of home control interfaces. The mount ensures that the Josh Touchscreen blends seamlessly into the wall, while maintaining full functionality, including integrations with JoshGPT.AI, voice control via a tap-to-talk button, and the device’s proximity and light sensors.
The Josh Touchscreen flush-mount is available through both WALL-SMART and Josh.ai and will be exhibited at CEDIA Expo at Josh.ai Booth #2928 and WALL-SMART Booth #4105. Additionally, WALL-SMART offers mounting solutions for other Josh.ai devices, including the Nano and Micro voice assistants.
Custom Flush Mounts for New RTI Touchpanels and Vantage Keypads
WALL-SMART’s long-standing partnerships with industry leaders RTI and Vantage have led to the development of new custom flush-mounts for their latest touchpanels and keypads, respectively. These additions will also be showcased at CEDIA Expo, providing attendees with an opportunity to see how these solutions can enhance the aesthetic and functionality of smart home environments.
The new flush mounts for Vantage are designed to accommodate the company’s Trimline II trims, which house EasyTouch, RP Touch, and SquareTouch keypads, as well as various wiring devices. They are also compatible with Vantage’s Equinox Touchscreens and adorne Touch keypads, ensuring a cohesive look across different control interfaces.
WALL-SMART has also introduced flush-mount solutions for RTI’s recently launched IST-10 (10-inch.) and IST-5 (5-inch.) high-resolution touchpanels. These mounts allow integrators to recess RTI’s touchpanels flush with the wall, achieving a sleek and modern appearance while preserving the panels’ high functionality.

Advanced HDMI and speaker cabling from Kordz connects with world-class AV equipment in Trinnov Audio’s highly anticipated home theater demo at CEDIA Expo 2024.
August 23, 2024 – Kordz will showcase the power and reliability of its professional-grade cabling solutions during demonstrations of Trinnov Audio’s revolutionary WaveForming technology with Perlisten Audio’s infrasonic bass technology at CEDIA Expo 2024, Booth #2938. To ensure optimal performance of these next-generation audio systems, for the second year in a row Trinnov has selected Kordz as its sole provider of HDMI, audio and speaker cabling.

The demo theater was pre-built and calibrated on the factory floor of Officina Acustica in Italy before disassembling it to be reassembled identically at the show — transforming an empty space into a finished cinema in just three days.

… From the second the green-band trailer popped on screen, it was clear how vibrant, sharp, and bright the image was. I’d say it looked like a giant, 18-foot-wide OLED, but at up to 1500 nits, it was much brighter and, obviously, way more engaging. And the Kaleidescape cover art screen — something we’re all pretty familiar with at this point — has never looked better, with colors that just leapt off the giant screen.
