Azione Unlimited Prescient Planning II Vendor Meeting Kicks-off Tuesday in Philly
Vendor members gather for mid-year planning session designed continued success
Chester Springs, PA (July 10, 2017) Azione Unlimited (AU), the education and buying group for custom installers and home technology professionals, will hold its Prescient Planning II vendor-only meeting Tuesday and Wednesday, July 11 & 12, 2017 at the Penn View Hotel in Philadelphia, PA. During the event, 28 of the organization’s 45 vendor members will meet to discuss plans for the organization, helping Azione refine and successfully execute its roadmap for over the next five years.
By its dictionary definition, “prescient” means prophetic, or having knowledge of future events—being able to predict the future. However, the word also means “visionary,” and this definition best describes the Azione members in attendance, Azione leadership, and the Azione 2.0 initiative, which has already increased communication and collaboration amongst members with the goal of better serving the home technology industry as a whole.
Across two days, Vendor Meeting attendees will work together to envision a roadmap for the continued success of Azione 2.0, determine ways they can better meet the needs of the organization and its dealer members, and provide feedback on current Azione initiatives and activities. Like the recent middle management meeting, the vendor meeting focuses on a specific branch of Azione members, giving attendees the opportunity to meet and mingle with like-minded professionals who share similar goals and challenges.
Of course, in the true Azione spirit, the event will also offer fun and relaxing downtime, good meals, and networking opportunities for the manufacturers and service providers in attendance. “We held our first vendor meeting about three years ago and collected valuable information from attendees,” says Azione President Richard Glikes. “Since vendors are members too, their help in laying the roadmap to our collective success is vital. With so many exciting changes going on right now in the industry and especially within our organization, we have invited all vendors to attend Prescient Planning II and provide feedback on our next five years—Azione 2.0, so to speak.”
