Receiver-only options are designed to meet any budget and the needs of unique hearing environments; company also reveals new line of ListenTALK accessories that extend system’s flexibility
INTEGRATED SYSTEMS EUROPE – AMSTERDAM – February 5, 2019 – Listen Technologies, a leading provider of assistive listening systems for 20 years, is showcasing two new receivers – the LKR-11 and LKR-12 – and the latest accessories for its award-winning mobile communication product ListenTALK at Integrated Systems Europe this week.
ListenTALK, which Listen Technologies demonstrated at ISE 2018, features a wireless, pocket-sized transceiver that makes it easy for groups of two or more people to listen and talk with the push of a button. For an effective tour or event, a mobile two-way communication system is the best solution. But sometimes, a two-way collaboration system is not necessary, and a one-way system would be sufficient. In those instances, the LKR-11 and LKR-12, which launched in fall 2018, offer affordable receiver-only options.
The new LKR-11 Receiver Pro features volume control, crisp, clear audio, near field communication (NFC), a storage tray, software pairing and OLED digital display. Unlike the original LK-1 Transceiver, it only features one-way communication and does not have an internal mic or talk back button. The LKR-12 Receiver Basic is similar to the LKR-11, but does not feature NFC or the OLED digital display. The new receivers extend the flexibility of the ListenTALK system. Users start with one original ListenTALK LK-1 transceiver and add more transceivers or receivers as needed to suit their unique sound environment requirements and budget.
“We recognize that not every situation requires two-way communication, so we designed the LKR-11 and LKR-12 ListenTALK one-way receivers to be listen only while still providing the same great user experience and sound quality people have come to expect from Listen Technologies products,” said Russ Gentner, CEO of Listen Technologies. “At Listen Technologies, we’re committed to delivering personalized listening solutions that enable people to hear and engage in any environment, whether a space is small or large, quiet or noisy. Our new listen-only receivers provide clean, highly intelligible audio for any budget and when a two-way collaboration system is not required.”
The LKR-11 and LKR-12 receivers are ideal for college tours, corporate tours, factory tours, assistive listening, educational applications and much more. New accessories further extend the ListenTALK system’s flexibility and enhance the user experience in all applications.
Listen Technologies is showcasing the following ListenTALK accessories at ISE 2019 (booth 7-C192):
- Protective Case: Protects units from dings, drops and wear (note: does not cover the screen).
- Line/Headset Mix Cable: Allows leader to add a secondary audio source such as prerecorded music or messages from an MP3 player or similar.
- Smartphone Cable: Enables ListenTALK to be connected to a smartphone to conference a third party.
- Microphone Input / Headphone Output Cable: Allows the transmit and receive function to be split to connect to an external audio source.

Listen Technologies will be demonstrating the LKR-11 and LKR-12 receivers and showcasing its latest line of ListenTALK accessories at ISE 2019 at booth number 7-C192.
