With 2 new models added to line, Leon’s award-winning Ente SoundTile can be mixed and matched, offering integrators and designers multiple audio configurations.
[Ann Arbor, MI] – September 14, 2020 – Combining art and audio in one, Leon’s Ente SoundTile delivers reference-grade audio by Leon speakers powered by a Sonos Amp®, all elegantly concealed behind an artwork grille that makes the installation look more like a work of art than a sound system. First introduced at CEDIA Expo in 2019 to much industry accolade, the Ente SoundTile was originally only offered in a two-channel audio configuration. Now Leon has expanded the line to include one-channel and zero-channel options so that integrators can mix and match models to create diptychs, triptychs, and more with the artwork while keeping the sound and style consistent.
“We designed the Ente SoundTile to change the way that people think about architectural audio. Instead of having the speakers hidden away, we wanted them to be on display and actually add to the design of the space,” says Noah Kaplan, Leon Founder & President. “These new Ente models will give designers and integrators even more options to mix art with audio in any residential or commercial environment.”
The Ente SoundTile is resonating not only with integrators but also with the design community. “I love the simplicity and style of the Ente SoundTile,” remarks Toni Sabatino, Owner of Toni Sabatino Style, Riverhead, N.Y. “The ease of listening to your playlist from a piece of beautiful art adds so much to the space.”

Leon’s Noah Kaplan discusses how to fuse technology into any room design during Design UnCut panel session; FrameBar Soundbar and TcFIT-U Mounting Solution showcased at Leon’s virtual booth.
[Ann Arbor, MI] – September 14, 2020 – As the number of smart devices and systems in homes continues to grow, it becomes increasingly important for designers and integrators to understand how to effectively fuse those technologies with a home’s décor and architecture. Leon, a leading manufacturer of design-friendly speakers, along with a panel of design and tech experts, will provide valuable insights, tips, and guidance to attendees during a live online discussion at CEDIA Expo Virtual, Sept. 17, from 4 to 4:45 p.m. EST. Co-sponsored by Leon, “Hidden in Plain Sight: How to Conceal Tech or Make a Statement with It” will offer designers and integration pros techniques for hiding displays, speakers, and other technologies, as well as ways to showcase those technologies artistically, as stunning visual components of the room design.
“Technology continues to play a vital role in homeowners’ lives, whether they’re using tech for enjoyment, work, or to help manage the household,” says Leon President Noah Kaplan. “Unfortunately, all too often the technology overpowers the room aesthetic, making the space feel more like a science lab than a comfortable, beautiful living area. Our goal with this panel session is to impart practical information that integrators and designers can use when working with clients on home tech projects.”
Co-hosted by Katye McGregor Bennett of KMB Communications and Veronika Miller of Modenus Media, as part of an ongoing series of Design UnCut webcasts, “Hidden in Plain Sight” establishes an open forum of communication between designers, integrators, and manufacturers. In addition to Kaplan, panelists include Brad Hintze, Senior Marketing Leader, Control4; Jamie Briesemeister, CEO and Co-Founder, Integration Controls; Rocky Settecasi, Systems Designer, TRIPhase Technologies; and Shanna Haecker, Owner and Designer, TRIPhase Technologies.

With extensive industry experience and a passion for design and technology, Price brings fresh insight and a strong design vision to Leon’s leadership team.
[Ann Arbor, MI] – May 22, 2019 – Leon Speakers announced today that they have added a new member to their leadership team, Melissa Price, former CEO of dPOP, a Detroit-based, commercial interior design studio that is part of Dan and Jennifer Gilbert’s family of over a hundred companies. Melissa will be working as Leon’s Director of Strategy, developing partnerships and continuing to grow Leon’s commercial market share. Her extensive experience working in the interior design, IT, and facilities management fields makes her a natural fit for Leon, a culture-driven company that has been delivering sound and style to the AV industry for over 20 years.
“Vision is important to us at Leon, and in thinking about the future of the company, we knew that design was the way forward. Melissa and I were introduced by a mutual friend and I knew right away that she would be an incredible asset to our team who could help us shape the next chapter of our evolution,” said Noah Kaplan, Leon’s Founder and President.
Price’s experience designing innovative workspaces with dPOP, and before that working as the Facilities Director for Quicken Loans in Detroit, gives her a unique understanding of the common challenges that Leon’s commercial consultants and integrators face. In her new role, she is looking to let her design perspective, technical insight, and experience developing key partnerships guide Leon’s overall strategic vision.
“Leon has done an incredible job defining its position as a thought leader in the industry and my goal is to continue to grow that in an impactful way. I see a lot of opportunity for us in the commercial space and I’m excited to bring my passion for design and technology and my experience working with Fortune 500 companies to help grow the business,” said Price.

The new series provides integrators with plug-and-play products that
turn audio into art—all powered by the new SONOS AMP®
[Ann Arbor, MI] – May 22, 2019 – Working in collaboration with Sonos to develop a line of lifestyle products focused around their Amp, Leon Speakers has launched a new series of products that bring the sound and style that they are known for to the Sonos platform. The Ente Series is comprised of three products: the Ente Sound Sculpture, the Ente SoundTile, and the Ente Soundbar—all featuring power by the SONOS AMP and audio by Leon.
“Our Tonecase line has been hugely popular with our dealers and the Ente Series is the next evolution of our solutions for Sonos,” said Noah Kaplan, Leon’s Founder and President. “Ente makes technology concealment easy for integrators, providing a design-friendly, plug-and-play solution that easily integrates into any Sonos system.”

Ente Sound Sculpture
The Ente Sound Sculpture is a wall-hanging sculptural piece that brings sound, light, and form together to create a dynamic entertainment experience. Wave-like, black and white Baltic Birch panels are interspersed between audio channels, creating a one-of-a-kind statement piece that adds both performance and style to the Sonos home or office.
Ente SoundTile
Art and audio in one, Leon’s Ente SoundTile may look like a piece of art, but behind the grill is two channels of reference-grade audio and a SONOS AMP. Chosen artwork is screen-printed onto a perforated metal grill, completely concealing the technology behind it. The Ente SoundTile can be customized to suit any décor and is a great piece for the home or in commercial spaces like lobbies and reception areas.
Ente Soundbar
While it’s often the goal for speakers to blend in, products like the Ente Soundbar are designed to keep the audio on display. Perfect for mounting below a TV, this Sonos-powered soundbar has a unique aesthetic that features a handcrafted Baltic Birch cabinet with exposed, raw edges and a stylized center grill.
The Ente Series is now available to order for Leon’s network of dealers worldwide. Learn more about the Ente Series on Leon’s website.
