Leon Infocomm 2021

Ann Arbor, MI – Looking to inspire commercial AV integrators to push the boundaries of creativity when integrating audio systems into corporate environments, Leon showcases at InfoComm 2021 (booth #1701) several products exhibiting a unique blend of art, design, and audio technology. Able to be customized with a range of creative finish and color options, Leon’s design-forward commercial audio line provides AV integrators with innovative solutions that look as good as they perform.

Tonecase FIT Universal for Bose and Logitech Videoconferencing Systems
Through strategic partnerships with leading providers of commercial videoconferencing systems, including Bose and Logitech, Leon Speakers offers a line of pre-configured, turnkey videoconferencing solutions that integrate technology into customized, design-friendly office furnishings. For commercial AV integrators, this preconfigured offering simplifies the specification, ordering, and production process for corporate applications.

Validated to function optimally within Leon’s Tonecase FIT Universal (TcFIT-U) housing, which mounts below a display, is the Bose Videobar VB1. The Bose VB1 is recessed into the TcFIT-U and covered with a custom grille that matches the exact width of the display with a cut-out for the videoconferencing camera. The fit, form, and function of the two products have been tested by Leon under rigorous standards to ensure that they integrate and operate seamlessly together.

Leon Infocomm 2021 5In addition to the TcFIT-U for the Bose VB1, Leon has customized and validated its TcFIT-U for a variety of Logitech videoconferencing systems, enabling the technology to blend cohesively into office environments.

Leon Speakers Horizon Interactive FIT for Conference Room AV Systems

High-fidelity speakers are built into the unit which is outfitted with a custom grille handcrafted to match the width of any display. Mounted below the display, the Horizon Interactive FIT creates a unified design aesthetic.

The HIFIT features two (2) 4″ woofers and two (2) 28mm tweeters which flank an internal storage area. Fully customizable, HIFIT is only 2.75” deep and available in two models: HIFIT44UX to accommodate TVs up to 65” diagonal and HIFIT44UX-OS for screens up to 90” diagonal.

Leon Infocomm 2021 2Leon Terra LuminSound TrLs50 Outdoor Speaker Delivers High-Fidelity Audio and LED Lighting to Commercial Landscapes
Leon’s Terra LuminSound TrLs50 outdoor speaker is the epitome of form and function. The high-fidelity, handcrafted speaker features a slender, contemporary, aluminum cabinet that can be customized in any of six new finishes Satin White, Light Sand, Slate Grey, Hammertone Silver, Dark Bronze, and Terracotta, in addition to Standard Black. These color options help the LuminSound TrLs50 blend in beautifully with a variety of regional landscapes.

The LuminSound TrLs50 takes speaker design a step further by incorporating an optional ring of warm white LED lighting wrapped around its perimeter. As the LuminSound TrLs50 delivers music to the outdoor space it illuminates walkways and accents the surrounding landscape. To help get the TrLs50 into the ideal location, three mounting options are available: spike, in-ground, and hardscape. The LuminSound TrLs50 stands 13 inches tall, but for more variety, a taller bollard version with a built-in adjustable path light is also available.

New Artist Edition Collection for Leon Ente SoundTiles Brings Art and Audio to Office Spaces
As a company with strong roots in the arts, Leon is always looking to support artists both near and far, and when Noah Kaplan, Leon’s founder and president, discovered the work of up-and-coming Detroit artist Mike Han earlier this year, he knew immediately that he wanted to collaborate to bring Han’s work to Leon’s audience.

Leon Infocomm 2021 4The Leon x Mike Han collaboration is a series of three paintings titled “Detroit Vibrations” that was created by Han exclusively for Leon. The pieces are being released as Leon’s latest Artist Edition Collection for the Ente SoundTile, a product that transforms the stereo system into unique pieces of wall art to seamlessly blend design and technology in corporate boardrooms, executive offices, lobbies, and more. Each Ente SoundTile conceals two channels of reference-grade audio and an amplifier, such as Crestron’s AMP-X300 amp, behind a perforated metal speaker grille with selected artwork screen printed on top.

Leon Speakers Launches New Collaboration w/ Detroit Artist Mike Han

Leon Speakers Launches New Collaboration w/ Detroit Artist Mike Han

“Detroit Vibrations” painting series from Mike Han was created exclusively for Leon as part of a new Artist Edition Collection for its Ente SoundTile

Ann Arbor, MI, September 20, 2021 – As a company with strong roots in the arts, Leon is always looking to support artists both near and far, and when Noah Kaplan, Leon’s founder and president, discovered the work of up-and-coming Detroit artist Mike Han earlier this year, he knew immediately that he wanted to collaborate to bring Han’s work to Leon’s audience.

Launching today, the Leon x Mike Han collaboration is a series of three paintings titled “Detroit Vibrations” that was created by Han exclusively for Leon. The pieces are being released as Leon’s latest Artist Edition Collection for the Ente SoundTile, a product that combines art and audio in one. In addition to being available for the Ente SoundTile, “Detroit Vibrations” will also be sold as limited-edition art prints on Leon’s website.

“What I love about the vision and mission of Leon at this stage is that we’re really about enabling artists to tell their stories, and we want people to be able to experience those stories in a new and different way,” said Kaplan. “Mike Han’s work has a natural musicality to it and when I saw it for the first time, I knew it would be a perfect fit for our Ente SoundTiles.”

Leon’s Ente SoundTile transforms the stereo system from a speaker into a work of art. Two channels of reference-grade audio and an amplifier are concealed behind a perforated metal speaker grille with an artwork screen printed on top. The sound tile mounts directly to the wall, appearing more like an art piece than an audio component.

While art for the tiles can be sourced from online art galleries like Rosentiels, Leon also works with artists to create exclusive Artist Edition collections for the series. Initially debuting with a selection of iconic fine art photographs from music photographer, Roberto Rabanne, the latest Ente SoundTile Artist Edition Collection is the three Mike Han “Detroit Vibrations” pieces that can be arranged as a triptych, diptych, or as standalone pieces.

A Korean-Detroit artist, designer, and self-described “modern vandal,” Han’s work is bold, drawing influence from the work of Keith Haring, classic graffiti from the ‘80s and ‘90s, and Korean calligraphy—but with a contemporary and playful touch. “A lot of my work starts with a character, a small piece, one line that builds upon the next,” said Han. “I don’t predetermine the outcome, but I find it through the process of creation.”

Leon Ente SoundTile Now Available in 3 Models for Increased Design Versatility

Leon Ente SoundTile Now Available in 3 Models for Increased Design Versatility

With 2 new models added to line, Leon’s award-winning Ente SoundTile can be mixed and matched, offering integrators and designers multiple audio configurations.

[Ann Arbor, MI] – September 14, 2020 – Combining art and audio in one, Leon’s Ente SoundTile delivers reference-grade audio by Leon speakers powered by a Sonos Amp®, all elegantly concealed behind an artwork grille that makes the installation look more like a work of art than a sound system. First introduced at CEDIA Expo in 2019 to much industry accolade, the Ente SoundTile was originally only offered in a two-channel audio configuration. Now Leon has expanded the line to include one-channel and zero-channel options so that integrators can mix and match models to create diptychs, triptychs, and more with the artwork while keeping the sound and style consistent.

“We designed the Ente SoundTile to change the way that people think about architectural audio. Instead of having the speakers hidden away, we wanted them to be on display and actually add to the design of the space,” says Noah Kaplan, Leon Founder & President. “These new Ente models will give designers and integrators even more options to mix art with audio in any residential or commercial environment.”

The Ente SoundTile is resonating not only with integrators but also with the design community.  “I love the simplicity and style of the Ente SoundTile,” remarks Toni Sabatino, Owner of Toni Sabatino Style, Riverhead, N.Y. “The ease of listening to your playlist from a piece of beautiful art adds so much to the space.”

Available Models

Ente SoundTile: (1) Ente SoundTile with (2) channels of audio and (1) Sonos Amp designed for single SoundTile installation.

(New!) Ente SoundTile-1×2: (2) Ente SoundTiles with (1) channel of audio each and (1) Sonos Amp designed for installation of 2 or more SoundTiles.

(New!) Ente SoundTile-Zero: (1) Acoustic ArtTile without speakers or amplifier designed for installation of 3 or more SoundTiles.

The Ente SoundTile is handcrafted out of Baltic Birch and available in Matte Black or Matte White. It features reference-grade Leon ULTIMA speakers and a Sonos Amp (unless specifying Ente-SoundTile-Zero) and is covered with a perforated metal grille with screen printed artwork selected from either Rosentiel’s extensive gallery or Leon’s Artist Edition Collection that currently features fine art photography from renowned music photographer Roberto Rabanne.
