During CEDIA Expo, Torus Power RM Series toroidal isolation transformers will deliver clean, uninterrupted power for the high-performance demo of Quantum Media Systems XDR3 LED Video Wall
TORONTO, ON, CANADA (Sept. 4, 2023) Torus Power Inc., maker of uncompromising, clean, isolation-transformer-based power components, is proudly supporting Quantum Media Systems’ 18-foot-wide Cinematic LED Video Wall demo in CEDIA Expo Room 207. There, two Torus Power RM Series isolation transformers will power and protect both the massive video wall and connected AV system equipment.
Isolation Transformers—not to be confused with power conditioners or surge protectors—decouple and isolate electronic components from the power source to eliminate transients and improve audio quality by dramatically lowering the noise floor while adding better dynamics, imaging, and bass. Video is noticeably crisper with brighter colors, deeper blacks, better contrast, and a more captivating overall image. Connected components are additionally protected from surges, spikes, and brownouts, ensuring systems continue to perform as intended despite harmful power conditions.
Torus Power is well-known for its custom isolation transformers that are made for AV applications of all shapes and sizes, from small media rooms to recording studios to large commercial AV installations, anywhere in the world. Rack, shelf, and wall mount units are available, and custom-specified units purpose-built for unique applications are a brand specialty.
RM Series Ideal for Luxury Residential AV Applications
Great for luxury home theater and residential systems such as high-end audio systems, the original Torus Power models in the RM series remain unparalleled industry-wide for performance, protection, and value. With models ranging from 8 Amps to 200 Amps, the most popular models are the RM-20 and RM-60 models, which are ideal for mid-size and larger high-performance systems. The Quantum Media Systems demo at CEDIA Expo will include two RM BAL units, which each deliver 100 Amps of clean, isolated power.
