By separating the projector head from the laser light engine, Digital Projection’s new Satellite Modular Laser System is smaller, lighter, and quieter; fits into spaces other projectors can’t.
(Kennesaw, Georgia) January 25, 2023 – Digital Projection International broadens its portfolio of leading-edge residential and commercial video projection systems with the addition of several advanced projection designs and technologies that deliver a host of compelling performance and installation benefits to AV integrators and end-users. Arguably one of the most important developments in projection solutions since the advent of the laser light source is Digital Projection’s revolutionary Satellite MLS (Modular Laser System). It rounds out DPI’s comprehensive projector line-up, which includes innovative and highly immersive viewing solutions such as the world’s brightest 1-Chip DLP® projector M-Vision 27000, as well as the mighty TITAN Laser range of projectors and highly versatile direct-view LED displays serving a myriad of applications. Many of these projection systems will be showcased in the Digital Projection stand #3K800 at ISE 2023, January 31 – February 3 in Barcelona.
Digital Projection’s Satellite MLS Technology Breaks Convention with Two-Piece Design
Challenging the outdated view from the rest of the projection industry, Digital Projection has turned the concept of performance-to-size ratio by developing a 3-chip DLP technology that works well with both smaller and more powerful projectors. Offering significant benefits at every stage of a system design, its Satellite MLS separates the light source from the small, lightweight projector ‘head,” giving integrators greater installation freedom and flexibility, particularly when space and access are tight. To put the size and weight benefits of the two-piece design into perspective, Digital Projection’s Titan S-MLS weighs just 81 pounds compared to the 200-pound heft of most other projectors. The chassis of Digital Projection’s HIGHlite S-MLS, meanwhile, measures 83% smaller than the older integrated version of the projector. The MLS’s innovative modular design also enables integrators to minimize noise and heat generated by placing the laser light engine away from the audience. The separate projection head and light source are linked by a robust and flexible fiber optic cable up to 100 meters long, Digital Projection’s latest innovation offers integrators and systems designers more flexibility and options to deploy advanced visual solutions, while making high-end RGB laser illumination accessible to a broader range of customers at a cost-effective price point.
Digital Projection’s 1-Chip M-Vision 27000 Inches Closer to 3-Chip Price Point
True to its commitment to offer ever-closer 3-Chip DLP performance at a 1-Chip DLP price point, the new M-Vision 27000 packs the most advanced technologies to deliver stunningly saturated colors at unprecedented levels of brightness.
Digital Projection Leverages Video Mapping Technologies
Digital Projection partners with VIOSO at ISE 2023 in a stunning video mapping showcase. VIOSO’s latest ground-breaking multi-playback warping and blending technology is integrated into more than 30 software- and hardware tools on the AV market, including select Digital Projection projectors. Together, Digital Projection and VIOSO will demonstrate via a free-floating projection dome how pairing a high-performance projector with video mapping technology brings a new visual twist to the AV market.
Digital Projection’s Direct View LEDs Offer Outstanding Visual Versatility
Providing a range of performance and price levels from 0.7mm fine-pitch indoor to 10mm outdoor, Digital Projection offers superior custom-integrated solutions with its Radiance LED Series. While specifications differ across the line, every display in the Radiance family delivers consistently bright and vivid imagery, stunning color saturation and contrast, thin mounting profiles, wide viewing angles and silent operation suitable for any commercial and high-end residential AV application.

Leon’s newest member of its popular Terra LuminSound TrLs50 collection, the 32-inch-tall Terra LuminSound Bollard rises above the landscape.
Ann Arbor, MI – Building off its popular Terra LuminSound outdoor speaker portfolio, Leon Speakers adds a new taller model to the line. The Terra LuminSound Bollard speaker features the same handcrafted components and built-in low-voltage lighting as the shorter landscape version but stands taller, thanks to a 21-inch aircraft-grade aluminum base. At an overall height of 32 inches and available with both halo and adjustable pathway lighting, the Terra LuminSound Bollard beautifully defines and enhances any outdoor residential or commercial environment.
“As we all continue spending more time outside, Leon wants to give integrators more design options that add audiovisual ambiance to a wide range of exterior settings,” says Noah Kaplan, Leon Speakers Founder and President. “Featuring premium customizable powder coat finishes, the Terra LuminSound Bollard adds exceptional sound and style to pathways, rooftops, outdoor kitchens and more.”
Incorporating audio and lighting in one compact, IP67-rated waterproof enclosure, the Terra LuminSound Bollard delivers high-fidelity sound from a sleek, customizable package designed and built to withstand even the harshest of climates. It’s available with commercial-grade LED lighting that can be adjusted upward or downward to illuminate pathways, landscaping and architectural details. The speakers blend discreetly into a variety of regional landscapes thanks to a choice of seven different finishes—Black, Satin White, Light Sand, Hammertone Silver, Slate Grey, Dark Bronze and Satin Terracotta. Hardscape mounting is the preferred installation method for the Bollard model, and like all Terra products, it is handcrafted in the USA and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. The Terra LuminSound Bollard is sold individually, starting at a suggested retail price of $1,900 without lighting and $2,000 with lighting.

FrameBar from Leon comes in two models and four finishes to blend in seamlessly with The Frame TV.
Ann Arbor, MI – While consumers love how Samsung’s The Frame looks more like an art piece than a TV, integrators have often struggled with how to add high-end audio to the installation. Leading soundbar manufacturer Leon Speakers puts an end to the design dilemma with FrameBar, a discreet, ultra-thin soundbar designed to match the width and finish of The Frame TV, providing enhanced audio and an unobtrusive aesthetic.
“Our dealers have been asking us to design an audio solution for The Frame since it first hit the market and we’re excited to offer a soundbar that was exclusively designed to pair with it,” says Noah Kaplan, Leon Founder and President. “We know that the appeal of The Frame TV is that it doesn’t look like a TV at all, so it was important to our design team to give FrameBar an ultra-modern look with multiple finish options while also keeping the design as minimalistic as possible.”
FrameBar is available in 2 models and is built to match the exact width of any model of The Frame TV 43” and larger. A variation of Leon’s popular HzUT soundbar, FrameBar features 2.5” audiophile-grade woofers and 22mm cloth-dome tweeters in an ultra-thin cabinet only 2.375” deep that mounts flush to the wall. FrameBar comes in a variety of finishes to match The Frame finishes offered by Samsung by color and year released, and it features flat moulding with an exposed cabinet edge on the front of the soundbar. While FrameBar ships standard with a black fabric grille cloth, there is the option to upgrade to a collection of designer grille fabrics to give the installation an even more customized look.
