Quantum Media Systems has been designing, engineering, and facilitating studio-grade digital cinema technology for pro screening rooms, commercial theaters, private theaters, and beyond for 20+ years. Owned by Ken Hoffman and Cesar Guerrero, QMS has traditionally put an emphasis on two-piece projection systems. Within the last five years, however, it has transitioned its focus on the development and integration of its own Fine Pitch LED walls.
“We felt that the image quality in existing LED offerings could be improved dramatically. With our experience in very high-end projectors, we knew how it should look and thought if we could get LED to the point where it gives us the best that projectors can do and more, we’d have a really amazing product line,” says Hoffman.
QMS designed its LED video wall—known as the Cinematic XDR—for high-end digital cinema, sourcing its own diodes, chips, and processors direct from component manufacturers, then engineering the LED video wall for the best performance and images on any source–from Blu-ray to Kaleidescape to streaming. Beyond its incredible performance, QMS couples its LED video wall with an entire ‘ecosystem’ that enables integration partners to seamlessly create a stellar visual experience. This includes consultation on playing content from all sources, Crestron modules for easy integration, on-site custom installation, and certified image calibration.
Quantum Media Systems’ XDR LED video wall will debut at CEDIA Expo 2022 in the Arts District #7 Demo Room in the Skywalk to the Omni hotel, adjacent to the convention center. learn more here: https://www.qmsprivatetheater.com/.

At InfoComm 2022, Listen Technologies will demonstrate new ADA-compliant Wi-Fi assistive listening systems. ListenTALK selected to support all Integrated Experience and Show Floor tours at InfoComm.
BLUFFDALE, UTAH – May 24, 2022 – Listen Technologies Corporation, the leading provider of advanced wireless listening solutions for 23 years, will showcase its full suite of listening solutions at InfoComm 2022 in Las Vegas June 4-10, including the newest additions and updates to its Listen EVERYWHERE and ListenTALK product lines. Listen Technologies also will provide ListenTALK to support all InfoComm-hosted tours. Media are invited to visit booth W1323 in the Conferencing & Collaboration Pavilion to see Listen Technologies product demos and learn more.
Listen Technologies is committed to providing inclusive audio experiences in any environment. Each innovative technology can be adapted and scaled to support a venue’s changing needs. All of its solutions are easy to use and deliver exceptional audio quality.
“Over the past two years, Listen Technologies has continued innovating and designing solutions that meet our customers’ evolving needs. We strive to foster inclusion with each of our products, and we are excited to return to InfoComm in person to demonstrate our technologies,” said Maile Keone, president and CEO of Listen Technologies.
Listen EVERYWHERE Product Suite Additions and Enhancements
Listen EVERYWHERE streams audio over a Wi-Fi network to smart devices and is compatible with Bluetooth-enabled hearing aids and speakers and telecoil-enabled hearing aids when paired with a neck loop.
Listen EVERYWHERE remains popular among venue administrators and end-users because it is easy and affordable for venues to set up, lets listeners use their own smart devices to hear live or recorded audio clearly despite hearing loss, noise, or distance, and offers the industry’s lowest latency. It is ideal for use in houses of worship, courtrooms, classrooms, theaters, manufacturing plants, museums, and corporate board rooms.
Listen Technologies will showcase the new LWR-1020 Listen EVERYWHERE receiver at InfoComm. The LWR-1020 makes the Listen EVERYWHERE assistive listening system compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Venues with Listen EVERYWHERE can now offer dedicated Listen EVERYWHERE receivers to guests who do not have, or prefer not to use, their smartphone to stream real-time audio (shown above). The receiver also supports hearing aid and cochlear implant telecoils when used with a neck loop.
Having dedicated Listen EVERYWHERE receivers to offer guests, in addition to neck loops and signage, ensures venues are in compliance with ADA requirements for assistive listening. All guests who would like to experience audio over Wi-Fi and the exceptional audio clarity it provides will be able to do so. The LWR-1020 receiver is available in the U.S.A. as an add-on to existing Listen EVERYWHERE servers. The receiver is also available in a bundled ADA compliant assistive listening SKU (LWS-10).Additionally, Listen Technologies will demonstrate a new Listen EVERYWHERE server and private channels feature. The new LW-150P-02-D Listen EVERYWHERE two-channel server with onboard Dante® is compatible with all Dante-enabled products. The Listen EVERYWHERE private channels feature allows venues to create confidential, password-protected audio channels on their networks.
Expanded ListenTALK Functionality and InfoComm Tours
ListenTALK is Listen Technologies’ award-winning mobile two-way communication system that lets users communicate in any environment, while maintaining a safe physical distance. A recent firmware update enhanced the system’s versatility and made it easier for interpreters to provide simultaneous language interpretation without additional equipment. ListenTALK transceivers (combination transmitter/receiver) are easy to set up and group. Up to 20 groups can be created or languages can be interpreted in the same space, making ListenTALK an ideal solution for trade shows, conventions, and other large events like InfoComm.
“We are eager for people to experience the power, reliability, and clarity of ListenTALK during tours at InfoComm and at venues around Las Vegas,” added Keone. “We are honored InfoComm selected ListenTALK to support and enhance participants’ tour experiences with clear audio.”
Options to Meet Unique Needs and Foster Inclusion
Listen Technologies will demonstrate the new LA-438 and the LA-439 Advanced Neck Loops during InfoComm. Both provide a reliable and effective way for listeners with t-coil-equipped hearing aids and cochlear implants to utilize Listen EVERYWHERE and ListenTALK. The LA-438 is an adult-sized neck loop while the LA-439 is a smaller version that better fits children.
Listen Technologies also will demonstrate its ListenIR and ListenRF assistive listening systems. ListenIR is an infrared (IR) product that offers reliable coverage and a cost-effective and easy way to install a solution for assistive listening, interpretation, and other wireless audio applications. ListenRF operates similarly to ListenIR but transmits sound over radio frequency (RF). Listen Technologies is the only manufacturer that offers radio frequency assistive listening systems in both the 72 and 216 MHz frequency ranges. Systems in the 216 MHz expands coverage for large theaters, arenas, and stadiums and allows the user to move around in large venues without losing the signal.
Application Stories
The versatility of Listen Technologies solutions and creativity of Listen customers and partners are evident in several recent installations. Some of the case studies Listen Technologies will highlight at InfoComm include:

ListenTALK mobile communication system will ensure attendees participating in immersive off-site and exhibit hall tours can hear clearly and fully engage in the experience
BLUFFDALE, UTAH – June 6, 2022 – Listen Technologies Corporation, the leading provider of advanced wireless listening solutions for 23 years, will provide ListenTALK, its versatile, 3-in-1 mobile communication system, to support all Integrated Experience Tours and Show Floor Tours at InfoComm 2022. InfoComm is the largest technology exhibition and conference in North America focused on the pro AV industry. It is produced by AVIXA, the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association.
AVIXA will host multiple Integrated Experience Tours around Las Vegas during InfoComm. InfoComm attendees will see actual AV deployments during these off-site tours and hear from the creators behind them. Tours include the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Arcadia Earth, Illuminarium Experiences, Las Vegas nightclubs, and Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart and AREA15. AVIXA is also offering Show Floor Tours at the Las Vegas Convention Center June 8-9, 2022. Industry experts will lead tours of different areas of the show floor organized by technology and application.
ListenTALK helps people hear in any environment and overcome the challenges that distance, background noise, hearing loss, language, and face coverings pose to clear communication. It is ideal for assistive listening, language interpretation, and guided tours like the ones offered at InfoComm.
“Listen Technologies is thrilled participants in InfoComm 2022 Integrated Experience and Show Floor tours will experience the audio clarity and elegant simplicity of ListenTALK in real applications,” said Maile Keone, president and CEO, Listen Technologies. “We are honored to support AVIXA and its partners to ensure tours at this year’s InfoComm are exceptional and enhance attendees’ overall experiences.”
How ListenTALK Works
ListenTALK features a small, lightweight transceiver (combined transmitter/receiver) that users can wear around their neck and plug into personal, or venue-provided, headphones or headsets. To speak, users press and hold a button on the transceiver. Clear audio is transmitted to other transceivers paired to their ListenTALK unit. Users can hear as far away as 100 meters indoors and 200 meters outdoors.
Transceivers are easily grouped in a docking station or by tapping units together using near-field communication (NFC). Leaders in each group choose how their group communicates by selecting one of three communication modes: Listen only, respond, and discuss. Leaders can easily switch between communication modes.
In addition to guided tours, ListenTALK is ideal for transmitting language interpretation and simplifies simultaneous interpretation. It is as easy as creating a separate group for tour participants or audience members with the person who will be interpreting the message.
Up to 20 simultaneous groups can be created, and languages can be interpreted in the same space in North America and Japan, and up to 30 simultaneous languages can be interpreted in the same space in Europe.
Enhancing InfoComm Tour Experiences
InfoComm is an ideal setting to showcase the power and versatility of ListenTALK. The Las Vegas Convention Center is a large, open space where tour participants may be separated from each other and the tour leader by distance or crowds. ListenTALK will ensure participants hear clearly over background noise and distance. The system also will help participants hear and engage in various indoor and outdoor integrated experience tours taking place around Las Vegas.
Listen Technologies will provide 128 ListenTALK transceivers with 8 lightweight charging cases and various accessories, including headphones and microphone options for leaders, to AVIXA for use during tours at InfoComm.
Important considerations for systems supporting multiple, consecutive mobile tours like those at InfoComm are operating time (battery life) and charging capacity. ListenTALK features that ensure transceiver units are always ready and will function for the duration of tours include:
- Long battery life – ListenTALK transceivers charge quickly (4 hours from empty to full charge). The operating life is 7 to 8 hours for leader units and 12 hours for participant units.
- Dual functionality of transceivers – Every ListenTALK transceiver can send or receive audio. “Leader” transceivers are assigned by adding a red clip to the unit. When there is not enough time to charge leader units between tours, users can easily exchange the leader unit (remove the red clip) for another fully charged transceiver and designate that unit a “leader” by adding the red clip.
- Easy charging between tours – A ListenTALK charging case contains a full tray of 16 transceivers. Transceivers are easily dropped into spaces in the tray between use and will charge when the case is plugged into a power source. Users can see the charge level of each unit by pressing a button on the top of the tray.
“We are excited to be working with Listen Technologies to ensure our new Integrated Experience Tours at premier venues throughout Las Vegas and our popular Show Floor Tours at the convention center are positive and engaging activities for participants that enhance their overall experience at InfoComm 2022,” said Marcella Walsh, content manager, AVIXA. “InfoComm selected ListenTALK for its audio clarity, reliability, and ease of use. Our tour leaders need a communication solution they can trust will perform so they can focus on leading great tours.”
Additional ListenTALK benefits include:
- Flexibility – ListenTALK can be used for one-way or two-way communication and tour leaders can easily switch between modes on the fly during tours.
- Security – ListenTALK operates on a low interference DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) band and includes encryption for secure and stable communications.
- Safety – ListenTALK transceivers can be sanitized between use with a disinfecting wipe. They also are compatible with standard earbuds and headsets (Listen Technologies will provide headsets for tour participants who need them).

Designed in collaboration with renowned innovation firm, IDEO, LiquidView’s Virtual Window brings the outdoors in to provide the perfect backdrop for any room. You can see it at Leon Speaker’s Booth W637 at InfoComm 2022 in Las Vegas.
[Ann Arbor, MI] – June 6, 2022 LiquidView, creating the most beautiful views imaginable from anywhere, will make its worldwide debut at InfoComm with the release of its WindowLV, a virtual window that transforms any room.
Architects, interior designers, and commercial customers, can literally add windows to rooms where none existed before or replace a poor view with a spectacular one.
Views can be changed at any time from an original content library of beautiful views shot by National Geographic level cinematographers from locations all over the world.
All views are shot for 24 hours and synchronize to the time of day where the WindowLV is installed. If a WindowLV is installed in New York, with views of Paris, when it is sunset in New York, the WindowLV will show the sunset in Paris. Additionally, all views seamlessly change every day to match the changing length of each day, are shot with feature film quality cameras, and are controllable via an easy to use iPhone App.
“Like so many people, I have lived in homes and worked in offices with no views, or terrible ones,” says LiquidView CEO, and filmmaker, Mitch Braff. “Improving people’s lives through giving anyone a beautiful view was the catalyst for starting LiquidView. Our windows literally transform rooms.”
Each Window comes with a trim-ready installation kit, high quality 4K commercial display, and access to the LiquidView’s Content Library, available through subscription. The installation kit was designed by AV trailblazer Leon Speakers, who has over a decade of experience designing innovative display frames through Media Décor.
“I believe with the WindowLV, LiquidView offers a disruptive solution that can completely transform how you experience a space”, Noah Kaplan, Founder and President of Leon Speakers. “This product has the potential to solve some of the biggest challenges that architects and designers face. Imagine being able to provide a view to anywhere in the world, in any space. It’s mind-blowing really.”
Kaplan and Leon Speakers were part of the design process with the LiquidView team that included architects, interior designers, and the IDEO design team. “We have been working with Leon on projects with Media Decor frames for years,, and it was natural for us to partner with them on this project. We are excited to work together to bring our windows to the world,” says LiquidView CEO Braff.
The LiquidView WindowLV is available for pre-order now and will ship in Q4 2022 with the breathtaking Panorama – a three panel window – and the single panel Window LV, which will ship in Q1 2023.
Attendees of InfoComm can come by LiquidView’s distribution partner to the AV Industry, Leon Speakers, at booth number W637 at InfoComm in Las Vegas between June 8 – June 10.
